Marah dan Gembira


Amru bin Ash pernah bertanya pada Rasulullah s.a.w. tentang sesiapa saja orang yang paling baginda cintai. Nabi menjawab bahawa yang pertama adalah Aisyah kemudian Abu Bakar.

Begitu cintanya Rasulullah kepada Aisyah, hingga baginda tahu bila Aisyah marah dan bila Aisyah berada dalam kesenangan dan kegembiraan. Aisyah hairan bagaimana Nabi boleh mengetahui bila saat-saat marah dan bila pula saat-saat gembira.Lalu dia bertanya dari mana Nabi dapat rahsia itu

Baginda menjawab, "Jika engkau sedang senang hati, pasti akan berkata 'demi Tuhannya Muhammad' tapi sebaliknya jika engkau sedang marah, pasti akan berkata, 'Tidak..demi Tuhannya Ibrahim..!'

Mendengar itu Aisyah hanya tersenyum seraya berkata, "Benar ya Rasulullah, aku hanya ingin menghindari menyebut namamu"

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born at Ulm, in Württemberg, Germany, on March 14, 1879. Six weeks later the family moved to Munich, where he later on began his schooling at the Luitpold Gymnasium. Later, they moved to Italy and Albert continued his education at Aarau, Switzerland and in 1896 he entered the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich to be trained as a teacher in physics and mathematics. In 1901, the year he gained his diploma, he acquired Swiss citizenship and, as he was unable to find a teaching post, he accepted a position as technical assistant in the Swiss Patent Office. In 1905 he obtained his doctor's degree.

During his stay at the Patent Office, and in his spare time, he produced much of his remarkable work and in 1908 he was appointed Privatdozent in Berne. In 1909 he became Professor Extraordinary at Zurich, in 1911 Professor of Theoretical Physics at Prague, returning to Zurich in the following year to fill a similar post. In 1914 he was appointed Director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Physical Institute and Professor in the University of Berlin. He became a German citizen in 1914 and remained in Berlin until 1933 when he renounced his citizenship for political reasons and emigrated to America to take the position of Professor of Theoretical Physics at Princeton. He became a United States citizen in 1940 and retired from his post in 1945.

A Samad Said

BIODATA

A. SAMAD SAID was born on 9 April 1935 at Kampung Belimbing Dalam, Durian Tunggal, Melaka. He received education at Sekolah Melayu Kota Raja, Singapura (1940 - 1946), Victoria Institution until he received Senior Cambridge Certificate (1956). A Samad Said achievement and contribution in enriching and improving the value of Malay Literiture had been appreciated by the ruler when on 29 May 1976 together with other authors, he had received a recognition as "Pejuang Sastera".

Year 1979 had been a meaningful year to A. Samad Said when he had been appointed by Prime Minister of Malaysia as one of the panel member of "Anugerah Sastera" and at the same year he had won SEA Write Award. The most high achievement of Samad as a poet (sasterawan) was when he was chosen as the winner of "Anugerah Sastera Negara 1985". The trailer of the latest drama of A. Samad Said, entitled Wira Bukit was presented in the event. In the field of writing, A. Samad Said also used the other names such as - Hilmy, Isa Dahmuri, Jamil Kelana, Manja, Mesra and Shamsir.
